Change is growth
Eyes are always watching. In any situation, there are always eyes on me. I cannot escape the constant surveillance in this world. Or can I?
I must.
The human body reacts to movement, noises, changes in sound, anything. And what is the first sense to react? Vision. Eyes peeled wide open as necks lash backward to see what created this disturbance in the earthly balance. With a slight glance, millions of thoughts shoot through the brain to make each person feel a different feeling. Opinions on opinions are created out of just a small scene. And then, gone they are. To the wayside. Completely eradicated from the mind in just a few moments.
All of that judgement for a thought that will most likely never reappear. All of those thoughts of negativity, skepticism, admonishment, and hatred. We are wired to think the worst, it takes effort to change that thought process. Defense mechanisms are what has kept us alive since day one so we must always play defense. We create an emotional shell that we refuse to break out of. The risk is much too high for the reward, or is it?
Taking risks is necessary. To develop oneself, the comfort of daily habits must be broken. We must find a way to break through. To change the form of thinking that says that comfort is good. There is no improvement without change. In a state of dormancy, nothing of worth is fabricated. Self-pride and self-confidence suffer dearly in a state of dormancy. How can you change what you want to change without changing daily actions?
Bring yourself to a state where change is encouraged and growth is synthesized. Force yourself into discomfort and see where it takes you.
