Always learn
Always learn
The biggest mistake I have learned is that you don’t have to be in the classroom to learn. Finding a way to learn constantly is what will separate you most from others. So how can one possibly learn all the time? Let’s dive in to find out.
The amount that you can learn fluctuates based on what you are doing. The best opportunity you have to learn is when something is happening around you that you don’t know anything about. The smartest people will ask the most questions in these situations. Rather than assuming they can’t learn or being apathetic toward the activity, smart people will make an effort to learn what is going on. Trying to learn as much as you can will make you better versed and it will make boring times more entertaining.
Many people will find themselves locked in monotonous conversations with a person that they don’t feel has anything to add. First of all, this is typically wrong. This person you feel knows nothing typical has some sort of value to add to you. They for sure know something you don’t and it is your opportunity to learn. If what they have to add doesn’t interest you, learn what makes people interesting or uninteresting. You can simply focus on body language and conversation techniques. Focusing on this will allow you to learn more about people and become a more emotionally intelligent person.
Any situation you are in can teach you something. Activate your mind and try to take something away from any situation you are in. You can get experience by having an inactive mind, but you will immensely accelerate how far this life experience gets you by activating your mind in every situation. Make it your goal to learn something no matter where you are. Be curious. Ask questions. Always be learning.
~Thank you for reading. My goal is to help teach others ways to better themselves while doing the same for myself. This is The Exploration.~
