Comfort zone

 Comfort zone

If you feel stuck, you are. You are stuck inside your own comfort zone. A comfort zone is a place where you feel relaxed and at ease, but it is the same place where no change ever happens. Breaking out of your comfort zone requires forced action and effort. Learn how to break out of your comfort zone and you will see immediate change.

Content people feel resistance and instantly stop. Growing people feel resistance and keep going until something breaks. That break is the sound of your comfort zone shattering. The time between the initial feeling of resistance and the break is scary. It is a feeling of uncertainty and fear of the unknown. Once you break out of the comfort, everything seems to slow down. You feel like you have achieved something. You feel like you have arrived. It is an instant dopamine hit when you have finally broken out of your comfort zone.

We all want change. Change is the only way for life to get better. Your mind tries to hold you back. It is your old self that has grappled you by the waist and is attempting to hold on to you at all costs. That is the feeling of comfort that has learned to circulate our mind. We crave comfort but we also crave change. They don’t go hand in hand.

Learn to crave the feeling of resistance. Let your brain begin to associate resistance with change. Break through that resistance and find a new version of yourself. But don’t stop there. Every single time you begin feeling comfortable again, look for a place to improve. Feel that resistance trying to hold you back and break through it. Every single time a comfort zone is broken, the easier it gets. Continue moving forward and don’t ever settle. Be the best you can be.

~Thank you for reading. My goal is to help teach others ways to better themselves while doing the same for myself. This is The Exploration.~
