Thought articulation
Thought articulation
“The thought process is never complete without articulation.”
As I go through my day, I have a lot of fleeting thoughts. Before, I used to try to simply remember them, but I quickly realized that my recall percentage was insufficient. I would have so many great thoughts throughout the day, but none would render anything because they were never captured.
Then I changed.
Now, I make a conscious effort to articulate all of my thoughts, even if I don’t think they are worth sharing. By putting thoughts down, I am able to track progress. I can literally see my growth in front of me. Trying to calculate growth by how I feel is no longer a thing. Tracking thoughts allows you to see the growth for yourself.
Most people simply disregard the things that come to their head. The only time they put something down is when they think it’s really good. Even then though, that idea is most likely ditched in the future because it “wasn’t good enough.”
If you are looking to close some circles, you need to articulate what goes on in your mind.
The more I write down, the more I have to choose from. Those ideas breed more ideas. A root system soon forms and the growth becomes exponential.
Imagine each thought you have as a seed. Every time you articulate a thought, you are planting a seed. If you only plant one seed, you will not have an ample crop. You will be unfulfilled because you only planted one seed and expected to flourish. Now, if you plant a million seeds, think about how big your crop will be. Yes, some seeds won’t bloom, but you drastically increase the chances of having a prolific crop.
These seeds you plant will lead to something. Just like plants, everything takes time to bloom. But it will never bloom if you don’t plant the seed.
Plant the seeds.
No matter what the thought is, don’t let it slip.
Articulate your thoughts.
